The Multimedia Group, Managers of Nhyira FM in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, has reacted to the alleged bribery audio involving Nana Kwadwo Jantuah, Journalist and Show Host at the station.
In a statement signed General Manager of Multimedia Group Limted, Kumasi, Jimmy Aglah cleared the Journalist of any wrong doing.
Referring to the said allegation as unfound and unsubstantiated, the media group called on Ghanaians to disregard the audio.
“The attention of the Management of Nhyira FM has been drawn to a bribery allegation against Nana Kwadwo Jantuah, a presenter of Nhyira FM.
“Preliminary investigations reveal that the allegation is unsubstantiated. The station engaged all persons mentioned in the allegation and they have all retracted the allegation. The person who made the said allegation has accordingly apologized,” the statement added.
It will be recalled that theGhanaianvoice.com broke a new item yesterday involving a bribery allegation involving the former president, John Dramani.
The said audio has a loud NDC serial caller and staunch supporter of John Mahama, Appiah Stadium alleging that Former President Mahama has tasked a businessman to pay two thousand dollars ($2000) to Nana Kwadwo Jantuah.
The station denying the allegation reiterate that commitment to staying neutral in their news coverage and have zero tolerance to bribery as it remains a standard requirement of its member.
