We Have Shown Commitment In Education Sector – Akufo-Addo

President Nana Akufo-Addo says his government has shown commitment to the education by making considerable investment in the sector.

The president believes that, the investment in the education sector has improved the standard and quality of education in the country.

As part of his Central regional tour, the president is expected to inspect, commission and cut sod for project in the Central region.

Speaking on a local radio station in Kasoa as part of his two-day tour of the Central Region, the President said teacher motivation and the provision of adequate textbooks for students are evidence of his government’s commitment to education.

“There has been a significant improvement in the quality of education because we have made considerable investments into the sector. We have motivated teachers enough and also provided more textbooks for teaching and learning.”

He added that his government is committed to developing the educational sector in the area of infrastructure and teacher motivation.

“These show how committed we are to developing the education sector. We have also invested heavily into infrastructure and are willing to do more in the coming years.”

President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo is embarking on a two-day tour of the central region. He will be interacting with the chief and people of the region, while inspecting ongoing projects such as Agenda 111, road and education infrastructure projects.
