Former deputy General Secretary and founder of Atta Mill Institute, Samuel Koku Anydoho has threatened to expose General Secretary and National Chairman hopeful, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah over his real ambition to become national Chairman of the Party.
In a series of tweet on his twitter feeds, the aggrieved former deputy secretary was not enthused with the idea of Asiedu Nketiah vying for the top position and vowed not to let that happened.
“I don’t like Samuel Ofosu Ampofo for now asserting himself as the Chairman and Leader of the NDC per Aritcle 25 of the Party’s constitution. Asiedu-Nketiah want t become the leader of the NDC but he shall not get it. Torfiakwa.”
Stating the real motive for Asiedu Nketiah’s pursuit for the Chairmanship position, the Founder of Atta-Mills Insititute said,
“I though Asiedu Nketiah wanted to be General Secretary for life, why does he want to become National Chairman? He quizzes.
He added that, “He only want to become National Chairman so he can use article 25 of the party constitution to become leader, and pursue his personal perfidious ambition.”
The Article 25 of the NDC Party Constitution states that, when the party is in opposition, and has not elected Party Flagbearer, the National Chairman acts as the leader of the Party.
Opposing the ambition of the General Secretary, Koko Anyidoho said, “Asiedu-Nketiah is the most poisonous and destructive element within the top of the NDC and he has be exposed and Not allowed to become Chairman and Leader of the Party of Jerry John Rawlings.”
