The National Executive Committee of the opposition NDC has made sweeping changes in its leadership in Parliament.

In a letter signed by General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey and addressed to the Speaker of Parliament, the NDC announced Casiel Ato Forson as new Minority Leader with Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah as his Deputy. The two take over from Haruna Iddrisu and James Klutsey Avedzi respectively.

Also affected with the reshuffle is Asawase MP, Mohammed-Mumbarak Muntaka who had been replaced with Adaklu MP, Governs Kwame Agbodza as the new Minority Chief Whip. Ahmed Ibrahim and Comfort Doyoe Ghansah however maintain their deputy whips.

The party has not given any reasons for the shake up which had long been rumored.

Details soon.
