Political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has warned the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, that a protest involving the youth wing of his New Patriotic Party (NPP) is in the offing.
According to the musician-turned-politician, NPP youth are suffering as much as the rest of the country and are consequently planning their own protest.
He said if that happens he will have been vindicated for his constant criticism of the ruling government.
A Plus, in a post on social media on Wednesday, November 16th 2022, said the protest would call for the removal of Akufo-Addo as President.
A Plus wrote: “The next big demonstration against Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be by the NPP youth. They will hit the street to demand his removal or early congress. That is when Gabby will remember a conversation we had in London sometime ago. Apparently, Kwame A Plus is not the only traitors in the party. The fruits of the spirit includes long-suffering. Kwame A Plus the vindicated soul. Now all those who insulted me will be the president’s worst critics. I feeeel gooood, tanananananana. I knew that I would… 😄.

His post comes after the Ku Me Preko reloaded demonstration, held on Saturday, November 5th 2022.
Led by private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu, the protest called for the resignation of the President over the ongoing economic crisis.
Meanwhile, Members of Parliament from both parties have called for the resignation of Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.
