Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Honourable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has sacked the host of popular Net 2 Television show ‘The Seat’, Justice Kweku Annan, over unprovoked attacks on the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Kennedy Agyapong announced the sacking in a recent speech, revealing he would never allow insults on any other potential rival in the Presidential race only to declare them as a brother later when the race ends.

He, therefore, announced that Kweku Annan has been relieved of his duties at Net 2 television.

The maverick Member of Parliament revealed in his speech that he was alerted to a video out there of Kweku Annan attacking Dr Bawumia.

Agyapong said the attack was not done on his channel but on Annan’s personal YouTube page.

Nevertheless, he said he is not going to allow anyone he employs to rain personal insults on any of his rivals because he doesn’t want to become a hypocrite later when they all have to unite for the general election.

He also said he doesn’t want to destroy his relationship with Ghana’s eminent Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Agyapong therefore announced that Annan has been summarily fired and would no longer host ‘The Seat’ show on Net 2 TV, which Agyapong owns as part of his Kencity Media Company.

Kennedy Agyapong however, took the opportunity to still plead with delegates to vote for him as the leader of the New Patriotic Party if they want to do the impossible and ‘break the 8’.
