Flyers making rounds on social media suggests that, current NDC deputy general secretary is interested in the chief scribe position.

Peter Boamah Otokunor has served as the deputy to the current General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah who reports suggests he will be contesting for the Chairmanships position in the upcoming executive elections.

Otokunor who recently bagged his Doctorate Degree in Agricultural economics and Policy is a vocal NDC executive who have led the party in various endeavors.

The Deputy scribe is likely to face stiff competition from Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, a stalwart of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the former campaign director of the party in the 2020 general elections.

The national democratic congress is currently conducting elections at their branches and constituency level.

This year’s executive election is predicted to be a fierce contest as the party remain poised to wrestle power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
