Former Communications Minister, Dr Edward Omane Boamah says he will not take any attempts to drag him into the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) internal elections lying down.
He has therefore sent a barrage of stern warnings to persons contesting for various positions in the (NDC) to desist from dragging his name in their dirty politics.
The NDC goes to the polls to elect new crop of Constituency, Regional and National Executives ahead of the 2024 general election.
Making his position known on Facebook, the former mouthpiece of the Erstwhile John Mahama Administration expressed his anger at people trying to drag him on what he called ‘dirty internal politicking’.
“Let me send an unsmiling & definite warning to those faceless people who wish to drag me into their dirty internal politicking to desist from it. Unlike in 2018, it will be different & they cannot stand it: they better stop [full stop]”.
The opposition NDC is lacing its boots to elect executives across the country who will lead the party to victory in 2024.
The internal elections will see new leaders of the party who will lead in prosecuting the agenda to win the 2024 general elections.
The party believes that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has failed and therefore they stand the chance of making things better and winning power in Ghana.
