‘Galamsey Queen’, En Huang, popularly known as Aisha Huang will face prosecution as attorney general has requested for the dockets.
Aisha Huang was deported from the country in 2019 after he was arrested for engaging in Galamsey which is against the laws of the country.
Her deportation raised eye brow as many citizens expected her prosecutions to serve as deterrent to others engaging in the menace.
Her recent arrest after her deportation has set tongues wrangling about how the seemingly well connected Chinese got back into the country.
The Attorney General in requesting for the previous and recent dockets about Aisha, assured of prosecution after investigation.
“Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame, has called for the docket on En Huang, a.k.a. Aisha Huang, from the Police,” portions of the Ministry’s post on September 6 read.
“The Attorney General per his request, assures that he will initiate prosecution against Miss Huang, in respect of her current alleged offences as well as those of 2017 before her deportation from Ghana in 2018,” the Ministry added.
The 47-year-old Chinese national was in 2019 deported by government, a move which triggered questions about Ghana’s commitment to eradicating the menace.
