Former Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr Koku Anyidoho has equaled Chairman of his party Johnson Asiedu Nketiah to two great dictators; Adulf Hitler of Germany and Museveni of the Republic of Uganda.

Mr Anyidoho’s accusation comes days after the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) made changes in its key parliamentary leadership.

The party last Tuesday announced changes in the leadership of the Minority Caucus in Parliament by appointing Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, Kwame Governs Agbodza and Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah as new leaders to replace Haruna Iddrisu, James Klutse Avedzi, Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka as Minority Leader, Deputy Minority Leader and Minority Chief Whip, respectively.

Until their elevation, Dr Forson was the Ranking Member on the Finance Committee while Mr Armah-Kofi Buah and Mr Agbodza were the Ranking Members of Trade and Industry, Roads committee respectively.

In reaction to a backlash from sections of party people, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah explained that the party decided to change its leadership in Parliament because it wants to put its best foot forward.

However, speaking on Hello FM in Kumasi monitored by MyNewsGH.com, Mr Anyidoho described Johnson Asiedu Nketiah as dictator.

“Asiedu Nketiah is a dictator, he is worse than Museveni and Hitler put together. I was his Deputy for four years and I know what I’m talking about,” he stressed.

He also accused Mr Asiedu Nketiah of not properly consulting Parliamentary leadership before the party arrived in such decision.

“As bold as you are, why didn’t you call Haruna, Muntaka and leadership of Parliament and tell them that this is the decision. You say you sent elders to talk to them, what kind of elders are bigger than you the leader of the party. There is something fishy in that soup. Why didn’t you call them yourself”, Koku Anyidoho chided.

He however acknowledged the fact that, there is nothing wrong with making changes but his concerns was how it was communicated.
