The Member of Parliament for Assin Central and NPP 2024 flagbearer aspirant, Kenney Ohene Agyapong, has denied any labels of being anti-Christian due to his attacks on Ghanaian men of God.
According to Agyapong, he wholly believes in God and subscribes to the notion that anyone who does not believe in God is a fool!
Agyapong said this during an appearance at Parliament Chapel International (PCI) on Friday, December 30, 2022, for the church’s weekly prayer session dubbed “Mpaebo Kasie.”
“You are surprised that I am quoting the Bible. A lot of pastors said I am anti-Christ. I am not anti-Christ; I believe in God. I believe that anybody who does not believe in God is a fool. For me to sleep and wake up alone tells me God exists,” he said.
Agyapong said his crusade against men of God is because he believes those particular ones are fake, quoting scripture to justify his position.
“I believe they are fake…Even the Bible made us aware that in the end there will be false prophets who will come in my name saying I am God, and when you are not careful to see the right pastors and continue to move from one pastor to another, your problems will not be solved.” the MP said.
In recent years, the MP used the platform afforded by his television channel, Net 2 TV, to attack men of God he described as fake.
He attacked and exposed the dealings of many men of God in particular Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder and leader of the Gods Way Ministries and Nigel Gaisie, founder and leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel.
