Ghanaian man of God, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, founder and leader of the Action Chapel International, has led his congregation in prayer aimed at arresting the fleeing dollar and stabilising the collapsing cedi.
The prophet beseeched his congregation to join him to call on the Lord to heed their call and stabilise the cedi, the worst performing currency in the world.
The man of God is seen leading these special prayers in a video uploaded to his social media handle on Twitter.
“All things are possible to him that believes, I said all things are possible to him that believes. We speak to the cedi. We prophesy to the cedi, let the cedi stabilize,” Duncan-Williams said.
“Open your mouth, put your hands together, prophesy, speak to the cedi… open your mouth, speak to the cedi, prophesy, arrest the cedi, stabilize it in prayer. In the name of Jesus,” he added.
A History of Failed Prayers
Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has never been shy to call for prayers to solve national issues, even if they don’t work out.
At the start of the cedi’s free fall against the dollar, Duncan-Williams again led a prayer commanding the currency to halt its fall and rise.
“It will not fall, it will not fall any further. I command the cedi to climb, I command the resurrection of the cedi,” Duncan-Williams prayed.
That prayer failed to materialise!
Previously, he also famously said COVID-19 would never enter Ghana after the pandemic started making its way across the world.
Leading a sermon, Duncan-Williams called on God to steer the virus away from Ghana and added that not one Ghanaian would perish from the virus.
