Private Legal Practitioner Martin Kpebu has dispelled rumors that he is backed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in his recent attacks on the NPP government and the Kumepreko Demonstration.
He says, contrary to the believe that he is doing the biding of the NDC,he never voted for the NDC or John Mahama in the 2020 general election.
Martin Kpebu said, he is not close to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and as such his upcoming demonstration has nothing to do with any political party.
Responding to this tag, the Lawyer indicated that over the years, he has never voted for John Dramani Mahama because he does not believe he can do the job of making Ghana better.
He said in 2016 and 2020 he voted for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo because he believed that he is the man who could have changed the fortunes of the West African country.
“I’ve never voted for JM. In 2016 and 2020 I voted for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Even the Saturday before the 2020 election, I was on CitiTv and I threw my weight behind Akufo-Addo because I believed he was the man for the job, I’ve never voted for the NDC and I’m not close to the NDC in any way,” he said.
The Legal practitioner is leading the charge for Ghanaians to demonstrate against the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led government.
Martin Kpebu who is leading the Demonstration has been tagged as a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
The demonstration which will take place on November 6, 2022, will see Ghanaians call on the President to resign from his position because it is clear he is bereft of ideas.
