The Director of Communications for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has said Ghanaians should never consider the opposition National Democratic as an option to save Ghana.
According to him, despite the current economic challenges, the NPP remains the best party to fix Ghana and they will fix Ghana in due time.
He said it would be a mistake for Ghanaians to think of returning the country to NDC rule because things would infinitely become worse under their stewardship.
“The economic challenges Ghanaians have had to endure these past months under the NPP will be resolved. But please make no mistake, the NDC is not an option. The government is working hard to fix it. Support NPP to deliver,” he said.
The current economic challenges of Ghana continue to reach new levels with each passing day.
The cedi continues to perform poorly against the U.S dollar, having sweeping effects on the local economy.
Meanwhile, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to speak on the state of Ghana’s economy on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
He will address the nation on the current economic situation in the country at 8:00pm on Sunday.
The President is also expected to use the opportunity to brief Ghanaians on the ongoing IMF negotiations which Ghana is looking to agree in earnest.
