Legendary Kumawood actor and staunch supporter of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kofi Adu popularly known as Agya Koo, has declared the Akufo-Addo led government as the best in Ghanaian history.
Speaking during an interview, Agya Koo said he has travelled around the country and personally seen the massive developmental projects being undertaken by the government and can confidently declare they have fulfilled their promises more than any other government ever.
“There’s no government that has worked so hard and delivered on its promises like Akufo-Addo. Kufour did some. He made us enjoy Democracy. I travel a lot around this country and I’ve seen the massive development first-hand so I question why Communicators are failing to project what Akufo-Addo has done,” Agya Koo said.
According to the actor, Ghanaians can attack him for his opinion but he knows what he’s talking about.
“Ghanaians can insult me but comparatively, there is no government that has delivered like the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led government. If you trace history, you will realize that Kwame Nkrumah didn’t do much. He just inherited what the colonial masters did and that was it,” he said in an interview with fellow actor Kwaku Manu.
Agya Koo is a veteran Ghanaian actor well known for spearheading the popular Kumawood revival of the late 200s and early 2010s.
He is also a staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), having campaigned for the party in a multitude of elections.
