The funeral of the late Samuel Kwame Agyepong, father of the Executive Chairman of Jospong Group of Companies saw dignitaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in attendance.

The funeral which was organized at forecourt of statehouse saw stalwarts of the NPP and NDC gracing the event.

The vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, along with First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo were notable person in attendance to mourn with the Business mogul.

Coming amid cheers and loud noise the vice president greeting the gathering as he made his way to his seat.

The First lady arrived alongside her entourage to console Mr. Agyepong  as he bid farewell to his late father.

Also, some Big wigs in the New Patriotic Party(NPP) including Trade Minister, Alan Kyerematen and Assin North MP and presidential hopeful Kennedy Ohene Agyapong as well as some notable opposition party member attended the funeral of Jospong late father..

Former President, John Dramani Mahama, Asiedu Nketiah were also captured at the grounds as they paid homage to the late Samuel Kwame Agyepong.

 

Family, friends and sympathizers were adorned in the official white- and-black cloth for the much publicized future which came off on Saturday, September 10.

Opanyin Agyepong died in June 2022 at age 98.
