General Manager of Citi FM/Citi TV, Bernard Koku Avle has paid an emotional tribute to late wife, calling her “God sent”

Justine Avle, who was buried yesterday September 8, 2022 at a private ceremony passed away after a short illness.

Paying tribute to the late wife, Bernard Avle extolled some qualities of Justine, revealing the crucial role she played in faith saying his “relationship with the Lord Jesus has grown steadily because of her.”

“a real gem who nurtured meaningful relationships, loved her family, and sought to not compete with but complement me,” he added.

Bernard revealed how supportive her late wife and always helped him to stay up to date while ensuring he is not missing out little things.

“She covered my blind spots in multiple ways. She urged me to check on this or that friend and made a conscious effort to call or text,” Bernard Avle said.

Explaining how he met Justine who would later become her wife, Bernard revealed how they met at a youth power conference where they shared similar passion for God’s work.

“ I met Justine on Saturday, October 15, 2005, at the Great Hall of the University of Ghana at the Youth Power Conference . Two weeks prior to this event, Citi FM has organized the first of what would become regular half-year programme. The September 2005 edition was held on the last Friday on that month at the Exhibition Assemblies of God Church.

It was after prayers for the nation and other issues that Pastor Stephen Wengam, lead pastor, asked that we make a final prayer to God for one specific thing that we wanted God to do for us. I asked  the lord to reveal His will comcerning who he wanted me to marry. Exactly two weeks later after this half-night prayer programme, on Saturday, October 15, 2005, I met Justine,” he said.

Bernard shared with the mourners how every plan of Justine, was towards extending helping hand to others and to the service of God.
