Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the National Executive Committee as well as the National Council of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) will approved some proposed names for the deputy national officers’ positions.
This comes after the steering committee met yesterday to consider the proposed names for various deputy and directorates of the party.
The deputy positions to filled include the deputy general secretary positions, which has been tipped to fall to Prof Haruna Mohammed and Dr. Antoinette Tsi-boe Darko, a lecturer at the University of Ghana.
Henry Nana Boakye, the national Organizer is likely to be assisted by Joseph Kwawaja and Chris Llyod, with the Kate Gyamfua, women organizer getting Mimi Duah and Hajia Safia Mohammed as the deputies.
Nasara Cordinator, Alhaji Haruna Futah will be aided by Ali Suraj of the Office of the President and a yet to be named person.
Kamal Deen Abdulai and Denis Miracle Aboaye are tipped to assist Richard Ahiagba for the Director of Communication position of the party. Also assisting the Director of Communication of the NPP will be Jennifer Queen and Hajia Raabi.
Deputies for International Affairs will also be considered in today’s crunch meeting at the Party’s Headquaters.
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo after wrapping up his tour of the Upper West and Savannah Regions will be an attendance as well as the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in accepting or rejecting the proposed Officers.
