Security analyst Dr. Adam Bona says, the president admission on Aisha Huang raised concern about the operation of our security architecture.

Mr. Bona said the admission raises question of indictment on the security chiefs as the president statement reveals a failure on the part of security

Commending the president on TV3‘s Midday Live on Tuesday, September 13, security analyst Dr. Adam Bonaa, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Kazz Group of Companies said,

“If the President is saying in sincerity and honesty that he is not aware of what has taken place with regard to Aisha Huang’s deportation or repatriated or she was in this country, it speaks volumes,” he said.

“But I have to be honest with you that I am happy that the President has been very sincere with Ghanaians, someone else would have lied to Ghanaians and say I am aware of what is going on and the issue is getting handled.”he added.

The Security Expert was however not enthused about the how security agencies have handled Aisha Huang case, insinuating a failure on the part.

“It tells you that probably the President is a bit more serious when it comes to the fight against galamsey and he is telling his security chiefs that you guys have failed me.”

Speaking on Ho-based Stonecity Radio on Tuesday, September 13, President Akufo-Addo expressed uncertainty as to whether the popular Chinese businesswoman was deported or she fled the country instead.

“When you have the situation like this woman [Aisha Huang]…I am not still sure whether she was in fact deported or whether she fled the country the first time and has now come back or whatever but there still seems to be some uncertainty about it,” he said.
