Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has predicted that, President Nana Akufo-Addo will have no option than to reduce the size of his government this year.
In a long list of expectation from the government among others in 2023, the lawmaker believes that the pressure mounted by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will force the president to downsize his government.
As part of his New Years greetings to Ghanaian, the avid critic of Akufo-Addo has forcasted a dim outlook on Ghana’s current political situation and international relations.
“I project that President Akufo-Addo will this year succumb to IMF and incessant public pressure by significantly reducing the size of his government and rationalizing his ministries”, he noted.
Mr. Ablakwa also says more scandals will hit the Nana Addo-led government this year.
He, however, failed to give hints of such scandals but promised to make it public in the coming week.
The outspoken lawmaker made this known in his outlined twenty (20) events that he envisions will occur within Ghana’s geopolitical space in the year 2023.
“Sadly, Ghanaians should expect more scandals in 2023. The first in the ever unending series of revelations would be put in the public domain from next week.” He added.
